About the role:
We’re hiring for an ambitious entrepreneur who can take a product to market and make it a successful profitable business unit. The product is in the proof of concept/testing phase at the moment where we have been able to show market appetite and demonstrated customer demand. We now need to bring in someone who can own the business proposition, product and commercialise it.
We’re looking for someone with commercial experience that has been part of launching a new product or business and has made it successfully viable. You’ll need to be both hands on and strategic as the success of the business will be yours to create. You’ll be comfortable working autonomously to define the strategy and outcomes and build the future success of the business. Ideally, you’ll have previous experience working with technology products, possibly even within the recruitment industry.
Roles and responsibilities:
Identify Market Opportunities
Take a big-picture view of the market segment and industry, identify what is working and what needs are not yet being addressed, and determine whether that market presents an opportunity to establish and grow a successful company within the care recruitment industry.
Manage Product Development
Play an active role in developing our digital product, determining specifications and future development opportunities.This aspect of the role is hands-on and critical, as successful product development can determine whether our new venture is ultimately successful.
Direct Marketing and Promotion
You’ll oversee all aspects of marketing and promotion channels to make the product successful both from a supply and demand standpoint.
Develop Financial Estimates
You’ll oversee all costs to bring the product to market, develop financial plans to determine break-even points and ensure long-term solvency, and set budgets as the company grows.
Create Business Plans and Documents
You’ll be responsible for creating business plans and important documents, which can include financial information, hiring documents, and business registration materials. You’ll work with legal experts to structure the businesses and create legal documents that outline each shareholders responsibilities, shares of equity, and terms of a partnership or corporation.
Build and Lead Teams
There is a huge requirement for high-level decision-making as well as the ability to identify areas where it benefits the company to bring in new personnel. The ability to inspire and lead teams helps scale up as their market share increases and helps hire and retain staff members who are dedicated to the company’s success.
